Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 320,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 50,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 270,000 km.
- An older car: 21 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in December 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
7 Volkswagen Passats from 2004 to 2006, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,120 to €1,600, with about 270,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 0 of the 7, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
