Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 368,000 km, about 1.4 times what a 18-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 96,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 272,000 km.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT ran out in January 2026. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
12 Mercedes Benz E Class from 2007 to 2009, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €2,720 to €4,210, with about 272,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 12. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
