Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 428,443 km, about 1.7 times what a 17-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 169,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 259,000 km.
- An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
39 Mercedes Benz E Class from 2008 to 2010, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €3,200 to €5,220, with about 259,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 27 of the 39. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
