Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 323,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 73,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 250,000 km.
- An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in October 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
7 Mercedes Benz E Class from 2006 to 2008, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €2,100 to €3,720, with about 250,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 7. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
