Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 381,413 km, about 1.3 times what a 20-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 70,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 311,000 km.
- An older car: 20 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
8 BMW X5s from 2005 to 2007, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €4,180 to €5,380, with about 311,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 1 of the 8, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
