BMW X5

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 321,868 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 37,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 359,000 km.
• An older car: 20 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

7 BMW X5s from 2005 to 2007, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €3,850 to €5,500, with about 359,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 7. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
