Mercedes-Benz SL Class SL 500

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 295,864 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 137,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 159,000 km.
• An older car: 22 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

6 Mercedes Benz Sl Class from 2003 to 2005, petrol, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €11,400 to €42,200, with about 159,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 3 of the 6. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
