Mercedes Sl 500

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 212,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 67,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 145,000 km.
• An older car: 23 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

8 Mercedes Benz Sl Class from 2002 to 2004, petrol, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €12,400 to €26,700, with about 145,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 8 of the 8, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
