Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 487,630 km, about 1.8 times what a 18-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 177,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 311,000 km.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
47 BMW 5 Series from 2007 to 2009, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €2,240 to €3,650, with about 311,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 32 of the 47. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
