Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 368,538 km, about 1.3 times what a 19-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 56,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 313,000 km.
- An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
35 BMW 5 Series from 2006 to 2008, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €2,000 to €3,550, with about 313,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 25 of the 35. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
