Volkswagen Sharan

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 272,000 km, about 1.2 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 31,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 241,000 km.
• An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in August 2023. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

7 Volkswagen Sharans from 2010 to 2012, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €4,820 to €6,520, with about 241,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 0 of the 7, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
