Volkswagen scirocco 2011 2.0tdi NCT

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 301,420 km, about 1.3 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 24,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 277,000 km.
• An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

17 Volkswagen Sciroccos from 2010 to 2012, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €3,750 to €5,000, with about 277,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 13 of the 17, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
