Volkswagen Scirocco

Worth knowing

• Low kilometres for its age: 105,000 km, about 59% under the usual for a 17-year-old car.
• 121,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 226,000 km.
• An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in November 2021. Ask whether it has been tested since.
