Worth knowing
- Above-average kilometres: 215,650 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
26 Volkswagen Polos from 2009 to 2011, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,220 to €3,840, with about 235,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 7 of the 26. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
