Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 260,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 20,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 240,000 km.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
6 Volkswagen Polos from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,690 to €2,000, with about 240,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 1 of the 6, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
