Vw polo

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 225,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 60,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 165,000 km.
• An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

31 Volkswagen Polos from 2006 to 2008, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,450 to €2,380, with about 165,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 16 of the 31. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
