Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 358,882 km, about 1.6 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 58,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 301,000 km.
- An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in November 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
160 Volkswagen Passats from 2010 to 2012, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,440 to €3,760, with about 301,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 75 of the 160. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
