Worth knowing
- Above-average kilometres: 198,745 km, about 1.3 times what a 10-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 25,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 174,000 km.
- An older car: 10 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT ran out in January 2026. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
49 Volkswagen Golfs from 2015 to 2017, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €10,000 to €15,000, with about 174,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 29 of the 49. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
