Worth knowing
- Above-average kilometres: 218,494 km, about 1.2 times what a 12-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 21,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 240,000 km.
- An older car: 12 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT ran out in January 2023. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
336 Volkswagen Golfs from 2013 to 2015, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €6,000 to €9,460, with about 240,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 336, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
