Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 257,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 13-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 13 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT runs out in October 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
301 Volkswagen Golfs from 2012 to 2014, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €4,600 to €7,500, with about 264,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 252 of the 301, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
