Worth knowing
- 110,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 288,000 km.
- An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
86 Volkswagen Golfs from 2008 to 2010, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,200 to €3,800, with about 288,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 35 of the 86. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
