Vauxhall Astra

Worth knowing

• An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

4 Vauxhall Astras from 2009 to 2011, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,350 to €3,380, with about 154,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 3 of the 4, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
