Vauxhall Astra CDTI LIFE 5DR 89BHP 1.3

Worth knowing

• Low kilometres for its age: 149,000 km, about 48% under the usual for a 19-year-old car.
• 110,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 259,000 km.
• An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in March 2024. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

3 Vauxhall Astras from 2006 to 2008, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,000 to €1,650, with about 259,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 0 of the 3, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
