Toyota Corolla 2000

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 227,319 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 49,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 276,000 km.
• An older car: 26 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in January 2016. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

6 Toyota Corollas from 1999 to 2001, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,480 to €2,420, with about 276,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 6. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
