Toyota Avensis 2006

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 403,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 20-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 189,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 214,000 km.
• An older car: 20 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

15 Toyota Avensis from 2005 to 2007, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,320 to €2,250, with about 214,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 10 of the 15. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
