Skoda Octavia

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 187,142 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 40,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 227,000 km.
• An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in September 2026. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

8 Skoda Octavias from 2009 to 2011, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,770 to €2,740, with about 227,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 8. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
