Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 256,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 58,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 314,000 km.
- An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in November 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
23 Skoda Octavias from 2008 to 2010, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,050 to €2,950, with about 314,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 5 of the 23, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
