Car

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 283,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 14-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• An older car: 14 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.

Why we say so

4 SEAT Alhambras from 2011 to 2013, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €4,560 to €5,800, with about 271,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 3 of the 4, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
