Worth knowing
- Above-average kilometres: 240,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 32,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 272,000 km.
- An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
9 Renault Scenics from 2008 to 2010, diesel are for sale now. Most ask €1,200 to €2,200, with about 272,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 1 of the 9, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
