• A lot of kilometres: 333,702 km, about 1.5 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 114,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 220,000 km.
• An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

37 Opel Astras from 2010 to 2012, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,450 to €3,800, with about 220,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 31 of the 37, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
