Nissan Qashqai 2009

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 386,241 km, about 1.5 times what a 17-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 145,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 242,000 km.
• An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

45 Nissan Qashqais from 2008 to 2010, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,250 to €2,500, with about 242,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 42 of the 45, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
