Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2008

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 360,492 km, about 1.3 times what a 18-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 88,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 272,000 km.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

12 Mercedes Benz E Class from 2007 to 2009, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €3,100 to €4,210, with about 272,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 9 of the 12, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
