Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 350,000 km, about 1.5 times what a 16-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 72,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 278,000 km.
- An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
39 Mercedes Benz C Class from 2009 to 2011, diesel are for sale now. Most ask €2,500 to €5,250, with about 278,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 24 of the 39. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
