* Mercedes C220D * Fresh Test*

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 394,620 km, about 1.4 times what a 19-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 150,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 245,000 km.
• An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

6 Mercedes Benz C Class from 2006 to 2008, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €1,550 to €3,740, with about 245,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 6. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
