• Above-average kilometres: 221,758 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 34,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 256,000 km.
• An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in December 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
