Ford Mondeo NCT 03/27

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 437,381 km, about 1.7 times what a 17-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 148,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 290,000 km.
• An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

36 Ford Mondeos from 2008 to 2010, diesel are for sale now. Most ask €1,000 to €2,260, with about 290,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 26 of the 36. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
