Ford Focus 2011 Zetec

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 302,300 km, about 1.3 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 35,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 268,000 km.
• An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
