Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 297,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
28 Ford Focus from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,300 to €2,250, with about 282,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 28, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
