Ford Focus

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 337,600 km, about 1.3 times what a 18-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 56,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 282,000 km.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in October 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

28 Ford Focus from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,300 to €2,250, with about 282,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 5 of the 28, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
