Worth knowing
- Above-average kilometres: 233,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 37,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 270,000 km.
- An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
144 BMW 5 Series from 2010 to 2012, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €5,000 to €7,990, with about 270,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 66 of the 144. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
