Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 332,784 km, about 1.4 times what a 16-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 61,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 272,000 km.
- An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
82 BMW 5 Series from 2009 to 2011, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €4,320 to €6,950, with about 272,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 25 of the 82. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
