Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 252,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 70,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 322,000 km.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in December 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
31 BMW 5 Series from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,250 to €3,780, with about 322,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 13 of the 31. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
