BMW 5 Series

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 369,300 km, about 1.4 times what a 18-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 59,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 311,000 km.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in November 2025. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

47 BMW 5 Series from 2007 to 2009, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €2,240 to €3,650, with about 311,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 24 of the 47. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
