BMW 523i Saloon 12 months NCT

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 263,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 62,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 201,000 km.
• An older car: 21 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
