Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 299,337 km, about 1.3 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 28,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 272,000 km.
- An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
85 BMW 3 Series from 2010 to 2012, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €3,300 to €5,950, with about 272,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 63 of the 85. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
