BMW 3 Series

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 209,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in November 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

8 BMW 3 Series from 2009 to 2011, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €3,940 to €6,380, with about 205,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 6 of the 8, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
