BMW 3 Series

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 296,485 km, about 1.2 times what a 16-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in November 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

59 BMW 3 Series from 2009 to 2011, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,720 to €4,720, with about 278,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 22 of the 59. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
