Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 301,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 115,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 187,000 km.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
17 BMW 3 Series from 2007 to 2009, petrol, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €2,950 to €5,500, with about 187,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 8 of the 17. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
