Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 332,500 km, about 1.3 times what a 17-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
18 Audi A6s from 2008 to 2010, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,160 to €3,620, with about 337,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 8 of the 18. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
