Audi A4

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 235,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 27,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 262,000 km.
• An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in May 2023. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

9 Audi A4s from 2010 to 2012, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €4,700 to €7,100, with about 262,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 9. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
